Identity & Influences

My songs begin with the music — melody, harmony and rhythm working together to shape an emotional core. The lyrics often come later, drawn slowly from what the music already seems to be communicating to me. I finish a track when everything feels aligned: the arrangement, the vocal, the message — all speaking the same emotional truth.

I'm drawn to artists who create space, atmosphere, and storytelling through sound:

• Pink Floyd – for expansive, emotional soundscapes that feel like worlds of their own
• Abba – for melodic brilliance and the joy of pure songwriting
• John Williams – for showing how music alone can carry story and wonder
• Oasis – for Noel's instinctive, unforgettable melodies
• Danny Elfman – for bold emotion and orchestral melodrama - especially Batman and Edward Scissorhands
• Jeff Lynne’s ELO – for arrangements that lift classic songwriting skyward
